I would consider using new gell battery that you can mount in any
position. I would run the ground to the engine as well If you ground to the
frame make sure you have a cable of equal size connecting the engine to ther
frame. Also don't forget about power loss with those long cables.Go to a
truck garage they can make up the cables you need. i have all that stuff so
I can make up any length in #10 up to #00 (real big). You would be suprised
the difference on how somthing spins with a little begger cable when it is
hot. and HOT will hurt a battery and electrical system as much or more than
cold. the only difference is cold stiffens the oil up and makes drag.
