I am also reading the book "taken for a ride" ( Good Read ). But I still do
not get it. DC was a money making machine. They were in the black big time.
They had a strong lineup. Then the market slowed down, a little more then
some expected. They start going crazy killing job's shuting down factory's
making suppliers cut 10% out of there cost. I have been reading the news and
finding out all I can about this, But still do not understand why they are
losing so much money. I have not heard that G.M. is hurting that bad same
with ford. Last I heard DC had a couple billon sitting around in a bank for
this very reason. Did they use it up in the takover? Please Expain what
happened and Why
