I've used Mobil 1 every 3k miles since around 30k miles... I took the heads
off at 96k miles and the cyl walls looked like they had closer to 40k miles
on them. All the parts that I removed had VERY little *if* any varnish or
deposits on them. One of these days I'm going to drop the oil pan (leaking
gasket...) and have a look see in there. Dino oil would probably be
perfectly fine w/ RELIGIOUS changing, but given the way I drive I prefer the
peace of mind of running a synthetic (proof is in my motor) :)
