DML:10x2 filter can whistling

Months ago I replaced the stock air intake with an Edelbrock 10x2 can.
Dressed up the engine bay nicely and a kick a-- hp increase but I can't
stand the constant whistling. Anyway to shut it up? Will another
manufacturer's filter quiet it down?
