On mine the crankshaft position sensor is on the rear of the engine block
near the outer edge of the flywheel. The camshaft position sensor is
located in the distributor for all engines except the 4.7. On those it's on
top of the right cylinder head.

Subject: DML: Crank shaft position sensor location

OK so what's this thing look like? I've read here on the DML it's by the
distributor on the V8 and behind the head, which one, passenger or driver's
side? What shape is it? Do you get to it from under the hood or crawling
under the truck?
We also have a cam shaft position sensor? Can anyone tell me where that is
located?

Thanks again for any responses
Jay
