Your dealer was correct. There is nothing you need to do. Your speedometer
is still correct.

Subject: DML: speedometer help!!!!

Hey guys, hopefully someone out there can help me. I have a 2000
regular cab SLT+ with the 4.7L and the 5-speed manual tranny. I
replaced the factory 3.55's in the rear with a set of factory 3.90's out
of a similar truck that someone wrecked. How do I go about fixing the
speedometer? is it a normal speedo gear setup, or otherwise? I talked
to my local dealer but he was pretty much useless. he did say something
about the speedometer takes its signal off the rear wheels which didn't
make much sense to me. Help!!!!

Thanks,
Jon
