maybe it should be this:
Riceboy - anyone who takes a car with the same characteristics of vehicles
made popular and cheap by the Japanese (i.e.. FWD, 4-6 cyl, originally built
for economy and function) and modifying them to a point as to which could be
seen as obsene, ugly, or just plain stupid.
My 2 cents...

I thought it had to be a Japanese import no matter how modded or not.

: I must be confused. If a person drives a Dakota, more
: importantly and American car, they are not a riceboy.
: The term I am used to describes the teenager who just
: got his license, driving the honda civics with a HUGE
: airplane wing on the back, japanese stickers all over
: the place, and a muffler the size of a Folgers coffee
: can. More importantly they are the guys who will
: never race a Dakota off a stoplight :)
So what about the owner of the Corsica I see in the
parking lot at school every day? Black Corsica, monstrous
wing, ugly rims showing the painted yellow brake drums,
yellow Neuspeed and Wings West stickers all over it. That
person isn't a riceboy because their car is American?
Your definition of riceboy is good EXCEPT that they
don't necessarily rice out import cars. Plenty of riced
out American cars where I live.
