In the 1960's (don't remember what years) Ford pick-ups where one piece
construction. The bed and cab sheet-metal where integrated as one unit.
I'd assume in that case that the bed and cab were mounted in the same
fashion. Don't know the reason, assume it has to do with ride and isolating
the load, but Ford long ago went back to separate cabs and beds.
