I recently rejoined the DML, so I don't know specifically about
the messages you speak of, but I can tell you that I had a 3.55
rear end go bad on me (I replied to this thread a couple days
ago with the following). It started making a whirring noise
that got worse with over a two week period. I took it to the
dealer and they replaced the entire thing. They said one of the
axle bearings had spun in the housing. I could not feel any
difference, but the noise was gone. If your truck's still under
warranty, demand your dealer fix it--that's the best advice I
can give you.
