When I had my Goodyears, I only rotated the 4 on the ground. Now that I
have the BFGs, I'm going to rotate in the spare as well. Obviously, I
have to buy a 5th tire, but I won't replace the Goodyear slung under the
bed until it's time for the first rotation, probably around late May or
June.
