I just had my evaporator replaced.. it wasn't cheap either. If the system
leaks it has to be fixed. You can just add freon and expect it to last
another 3 years. When you turn on the a/c listen to the compressor. If it
cycles on and off or doesn't come on @ all the it is low on freon. If your
lucky it could be a hose which is the cheapest replacement part on the
system, But even then you'll have to replace the dryer/accumulator and
filter/orifice... Good luck,
