I was even under fire from the Vatican WEBSERVER (no IP number please don't
ask) and I return the attack after I scanned there server for
vulnerabilities. I keep a running logs of who was accessing my PC at home.
If it is a Trojan search, automatically return attack and notification to
the web-host master. If TCP/UPD above more than 6, then a return scan to
see if that PC was a backdoor.

Wasn't the CIA hacked a few times though? hehehehehe

Steven's right though...those shareware/freeware firewalls make me cringe.
If it's free, the code has to be out there somewhere for the "really bored
computer users" to hack apart and find holes.

The best firewall that is used by the CIA, NSA, and here at work is the
NetworkICE version called BlackICE Defender. The world's best hackers
DEADCOW use it to protect themselves. Remember, this software engine check
every packet on ALL layers. No one in the industry does this.
