Were you on any hills or any thing? Almost sounds like the torque converter
was unlocking and then locking back up.

Today when I was driving to school, 40 miles interstate, I had the cruise
set at 75mph. Every now and then the engine would surge a little bit. The
RPM's would go from about 2200 to about 2400 and then back to normal. It
only seems to do this in the morning going to school, not coming back, and
with the cruise control set. Any suggestions?
