It's a high compression 4 cylinder engine. I haven't put a dollar into it
since I bought it (besides normal maint.) Don't get me wrong, I like my
Dak but if I had to place trust in a vehicle to drive the family across the
country I wouldn't be riding in a Dodge. Look at the problems you see in
this mailing list ! I belong to one for my Toyota and about the only
things you see in there is complaints about location of cup holders.

All that said, I don't want to start manufacture wars here. I drive the
Dak and my wife drives the RAV. I like my truck alot or I wouldn't have
bought it. Its a '91 that I bought 4 months ago for only $2,700. I've had
only a few problems with it, and they were less then I expected for an
older truck with 135k miles on it. But if I was rich (which I'm far from
as another military member in this newsgroup) I probably would have bought
a Toyota Tacoma or Tundra.

Bye,
Ray
