Mike was in the front and it is team member. Beside, he admitted that he
was going to win the race (more like his team was going to win) before the
Daytona event.

I've heard this said about 3 times now, and it is incorrect. DE was NOT
blocking for his Team Mates, since he did NOT drive for the same team. Dale
did not drive for his own team. He drove for Richard Childress racing.
In a situation where you are NOT going to be able to win, you may help
others that you think can. But, I doubt very highly he would not try to win
a race just to hand it to others. Especially since his team owner might
have an issue with him giving away races.
