Hey Digger,
    It sounds like you got condensation that is freezing in the air return
line in the tank. If the air cannot return to a point above the end of the
gas nozzle then the nozzle will shut off. You might want to try some fuel
conditioner that removes moisture from fuel. This sounds like the air cannot
get out as fast as the fuel is going in so the tank neck is filling up and
shutting of the automatic nozzle. Bill
