RE: mobil 1 ?'s

Basically, Alex, you should change your filter at normal intervals (and
replace that 1 qt of oil), but the rest of the oil should last over 10K
miles easily. I change my oil every 5K miles, including filter, and my oil
is pretty clean coming out. I may start leaving my oil in for 10K miles and
just change the filter at 5K. I'll try that once and have an analysis done
to see what they say.

That is my same concern. I just had the Mobile 1 put in and that is the
question
I asked the tech. He said they use the Mobile 1 filter and it is supposed to
hold up. He said that it is just a filter and made to last awhile. That is
what
HE said, but I still wonder.
