Mike,
    I would reccomend the 3.92 gears over the 4.10's. What size tires are
you running? Unless they are like 32's or 33's, then the 3.92 would be best
for power and gas mileage. If you didn't go with the Mopar unit, the
PowerTrax unit has been doing very well for alot of people on the DML. It is
also an easy unit to install. I don't know about a junkyard rear. If the
junkyard would put a warranty on the rear diff, then it might be a good deal.
