Oops I forgot one question. NO - it would not do any good to pull it. It is
either putting out oscillations or not - good or bad - quite simple. If it
isn't putting out oscillations - then maybe pull it and test it on a bench (dont
touch the tip) supplying proper bias voltage - reading output wire while passing
flame over tip to remove oxygen while watching output. It should either show
the presence of oxygen (0V=open air=LEAN) or not (0V=under flame=RICH=absence of
oxygen). Somebody give this a sanity check as I have had a few crown and cokes
tonight (can you tell 8-)
