Hoegen,

I installed the PIAA 510 driving lights on my '00
Quadcab b/c I found them to be superior to the stock
Dakota foglights. You can also get the fog light
version of the 510's which emit a yellow beam from an
otherwise clear lens. Since my QC didn't come with
foglights originally, I had to have foglight holes cut
in the front airdam and I used the PIAA mounting
brackets that are specifically made for the Dakota's
and 510's. What I'm saying is that I'm not sure
whether the existing mounting brackets from your
previous set of fog lamps will work with the 510's.

Other than the superior performance you will get from
the 510's, they look like the stock Dakota foglights.
You can see pictures of the 510's on my QC at

Good luck.
