On my '88 I pulled the computer that controls this out from under the
dash. It was a small blue box under the light switch. The Haynes manual
that told me where it was also said something about being able to reset it
yourself but as soon as I realized the light would go off with it removes,
and still run, that box and the tape covering the light were both history.
