Update:
Well, got good news and bad news....
Good News: Turns out that the custom pulley spun itself too close to the
case and locked up due to the heat from the friction. That's all that
happened! :) I took the pulley off, cleaned up the case (and shaft) and
reinstalled my old 9# pulley. She's back up and running and happy. (I had
originally thought that the blower seized but this was also at 11:00pm on a
wet evening with only a flashlight to check the blower...last night at the
movie theatre.)
Bad news: The nice Blue Anodized Pulley is now ruined.
I spoke with ScottQ and i'm sending him my factory 6# pulley for
tolerance/measurement specs. He's also sending me out a new (different
size) pulley to replace the one that fried last night. (Thank You Scott.)
