They need to change out to shorter cab bolts....but I didn't know this was a
problem with 97's.

Subject: DML: Fix for bed popping noise?

I know this has been brought up before and there is a TSB on it, but has
anyone been successful in getting their dealer to fix the popping noise from
the bed that is created when you turn on an incline? What did your dealer
do? I took my truck to the dealer Thursday, and they tried to tell me the
exhaust and rear shocks were loose. They said they tightened up everything.
I think they sold be bunch of bull, because the truck still makes the noise.
Thanks for any help.
