I was told the same thing since about Dec last year - they (several dealerships)
said to keep coming back next week, etc......BS!

Turns out - my buddy that works as a parts mgr said that CC had a problem w/the
supply - said that only 2 per dealership would ship and those just shipped very
recently. They were told to hang on to them rather than selling/giving them to
customers because there was no ETA on any remaining shipments. I managed to
talk him out of 1 of his so I have one if anyone wants anything looked up.

Here's some goodies that I noticed right away (haven't REALLY sat down w/it yet
either...8):

- Another cool cover as usual, this one has Casey Atwood's #19 Winston Cup Car
in big bold red
- Lots more books incl a new Dodge Pickup Color History one that covers
1916-1996 (P5007518)
- 6 performance computers for 4.7L motors (2 for Dak, 2 for Dur, 2 for Jeep)
- STILL only 1 camshaft for V8s (SUX!)
- "Special" hydraulic pushrods (P5007477) to be used w/Jeep tappets (P4529220)
and magnum rocker arms (P4876050) for retrofitting magnum heads (and
intake,tb,injectors,etc...) on older LA engine blocks
- 7 (thats right - seven) heads for V8 magnum motors (3 are "regular"?, 3 are
R/T, 1 Aluminum) - one has 2.02/1.625, one has 3/8 valve stem guides (woohoo!)
for using LA valves!!!
- 5 intakes - these have been pretty popular lately so I'll run down the
application chart:

P5249500 - 4bbl DualPlane - Idle to 5500rpm
P5249501 - 4bbl SinglePlane - 2600 to 6000rpm
<stock> - 2bbl DualPlane - Idle to 5500rpm
P5007398 - 2bbl SinglePlane - 2000 to 5800rpm (new one - better for
street-driven trucks?)
P5249816 - 2 or 4bbl SinglePlane - 2600 to 6000 (our old favorite "MPI" - better
for track-driven trucks?)

thats as far as I got on my second pass = half way thru (1st was REALLY fast 8)
- I did notice the performance "heavy-duty" 518 tranny on my first pass thru but
price was around $1800 so I'll try to give more info on the back half later...

Latr,

Shane

ps - looks like another Dodge takes 1st in this weekends Nascar Craftsman Truck
race!!
