Jay,
If I remember correctly, the low redline is because of the extended angle of
the pushrods to the rockers. If you over tach the stock componentry, you
flirt with bending the pushrods. If you bend the pushrods even slightly
your performance will drop off, and you might be able to notice a loss of
idle quality. You may or may not notice this. Of course if you bend them
real bad, you won't have to guess there is a problem. :'B
