I would have to say that you definitely have the right attitude!! I know
that Borla is a reputable, well-established company that will take care of
you if something does end up going wrong. Hopefully, nothing will.

I called them Friday about midway through the install and told them that my
exhaust man was having a terrible time getting them in and that he didn't
like what he saw. At that point we hadn't decided to cut the Y-pipe, but I
wanted them to know what was going on. I gave them the exhaust shop number
and encouraged them to call him and talk to him directly (they didn't). I
told them I knew this was a new product and I wasn't trying to be a pain
just
wanted them to know that we were having big problems making everything line
up right. I wanted them to know I had a professional doing the job and if I
had further problems down the road with leaking and such I was going to want
them to make things right. If I do have further problems they said they
would
refund me when I sent the headers back. I have $200 in installation and a
cut
Y-pipe, not to mention the un-install price or aggravation that they won't
refund or fix so I'm kinda stuck with them. They took all of my information
and gave me a reference number to hang on to. Apparently I now have a file
there. Like I said before: Live and Learn. I'm not as upset today as I was
before, and as long as the headers don't leak or give me problems I'm OK
with
having them on the truck. What's done is done.
