The only thing that I can personally say on this subject, is that having a
4x4 makes people feel more comfortable in the Snow, Mud, Rain, Sand, etc.
Using your better judgment and a light foot (on the go-pedal) is the best
practice. On or Off Road.

Is it possible to lower a Dakota 4x4 (98 and up)? I live up in Minnesota
and would really like the traction of 4x4 for the winters. Not to worried
about clearance being as I will be mostly
driving interstate and major hwys. Just worried about sliding all over. I
rode in a friends of mine and he was all over the place even with some high
traction winter tires. Any feed back
would be greatly appreciated. ShawnIs it possible to lower a Dakota 4x4 (98
