How many miles our on your Dak? My guess is around 62,000mi (give or take
500mi). That's when my '92 came on. EGR valve "replacement" time. If you
look in the owners manual in the maintenance section, you'll see that 60,000
is when it is supposed to be replaced.

Ok, went to Philly to pick up my new BMW autocrosser & tow it back with
my Dak last weekend and while I was there overnite checked out the
street racing scene...what I noticed was this: plenty of Lightnings in
various states of tune, but no Daks. Not a single one. Damn. I'm
depressed.
Dak content: on the way back, my check engine light came on.
Everything runs perfectly fine, just the light is on. What could be
causing this? did all the unburned gas soot up the oxy sensor, from
running under heavy load thru the mountains of Penn for 600 miles? Any
thought?
