Sorry guys, you are referring to the 4X4 tires. I'm surprised how less
"tacky" those tires are compared to the 4X2 tires. Just because yours have a
more aggressive tread is no excuse for having a less tacky compound. I hate
when manufacturers make decisions without our input! That's too bad. Again,
sorry for not noticing the 4X4 sooner ;^P

The Badyear Wranger RT/S 31x10.5 tires can get pretty bad pretty quick.

gave up on mine at 28K after they contirbuted heavily to me nearly totalling
my
truck in the snow. But then I've also seen someone from Chicago with 52K on
his and he's got a few thousand more miles on them. He feels comfortable
with
the amount of tread he has left. I had about 7 mm of tread on mine still
(well
above the legal limit) and didn't feel safe on mine. Even with 15K on the
tires they were sketchy in the rain 'round here.
