It's called dielectric grease. You'll want to apply a small amount to each
coil-on-plug just inside the boot and to "O" ring. Don't goop it on. Just a
little. Heat will cause the rubber to bond with the spark plug if you don't
use it. Then, next time you try to change the plugs, the coil-on-plug could
break, and you will cry when you find out how much it costs to replace them.
