1) Yes
2)MSD is a better brand
3) i have the #8202 Blaster 2, if your going to get MSD 6a i'd definently go
with the blaster. only thing is, you have to cut the coil wires, put a
different connection on the coil wire, and mount it somewhere.
4)8202

Subject: DML: MSD Blaster 2 vs. Accel SuperCoil

Hey folks, I have a coil question or four.
[1] Will the MSD Blaster 2 work with my truck? [2.5L]
[2] How does the Blaster 2 compare to the Accel SuperCoil?
[3] Which one would you folks get? I plan on getting the
MSD 6A and 8.5mm SuperConductor wires, and I'd like to
keep everything MSD if possible. Plus the Blaster 2 is
cheaper than the Accel.
[4] Were I to get the MSD, would I need the 8202 or the
8203? 8202 is for "MSD ignitions and OEM electronic
ignitions." 8203 is for "MSD and points ignitions."
[I know I sound dumb - I'm still learning ..]
Thanks!
