Trying to figure out why it's not running like it should...

Well, I finally got the chance to start doing a little checking and testing
on the Dakota today...

Performed a fuel pressure check - 45psi... no prob there...

I just got in my Factory service manual in earlier this week; money well
spent, already!

I'm taking the Dak over to a dealer tomorrow, and make sure that the
distributor was indexed properly...as I found that if it isn't, that the
camshaft sensor will be off and that it helps control the fuel injectors...
I'm going to also have them check all the sensors, and check the A/F ratio
to see if it is running lean...

In tranny news on my Dak, I found that the trans pan has a small leak...
going to replace the pan gasket as soon as I get the chance...
plus, I got outbid at the last minute on a shift kit for it, too... damn
last minute bidders!!!

Anyway, I'll keep you all posted...

Later,
Tom "Slick"
