muffler replacement

I am looking into replacing the muffler in my 2001 4.7 Dak. I am getting
mixed opinions though. I am basically looking to enhance the sound and if
I pick up a little performance along the way, great.

Here is the thing, I am looking to get a direct replacment for the stock.
Single in, single out..I want to do the install myself and I dont have the
means to lengthen the pipes. Has anyone done this? If so, what muffler
did you use?
