Kyle,
  Don't feel bad - Had to cut my lock off my hitch pin the other day as
well. Mine was the cheap kind that came with a "weather-proof" pad lock
though. Not too weather-proof in the salt I don't guess. Mine was easy
though...bolt cutters made easy work of it.:)
