Arnold,
The IAT on the 4.7 is located on the drivers side of the intake just
ahead of the TB mouth. Screws straight down into manifold. It's not as bad as
on the other engines because the manifold is made of composit material and
does not conduct very much at all. I'm still going to move mine to the intake
air stream ahead of the TB.
