I agree with Scott. Drag tires (MTs, BFGs, etc.) was my 2nd best bang
for the bucks. I lowered my ETs by 3/10s after putting on the BFGs drag
tires and experimenting for optimal tire pressure ... started at 22 psi
until I found that 18 psi worked best for my setup). At that time, I had
the K&N drop-in replacement, Gibson dual and the '96 MP PCM.

If your eventual goal is 14s and I assume your gears are 3.55, select
the 26" diameter offerings. I could not make the 14s with the 28"
diameter drag tires.

My 3rd best bang for the bucks was Bruce's Stage 1 tb. This cut
my ETs by .25.

The addition of Leach headers and K&N 14x 2.25 open air cleaner
combined was about a .175 improvement.

HTH.
