Sure does make a difference.
I cut my plenum divider down 1.5" and the intake runners by almost 1".
Smoothed them and radiused them as well....pulls MUCH harder from 2500rpm on
up.

I own a 1999 r/t and Im sure this question has been asked before , but would
there be any benifit to cutting down the intake runners a couple of inches,
?
Also what are the dyno numbers on the magnum roller cam (p5249549) ? Iv'e
been told there's a 10 hp decrease in power ! I have the cam in my truck and
i didn't feel a dam thing on the butt dyno !!! Thanks .
