I did both....had the runners shortened(by Jon Smith, no less!) and
installed a Hughes Engines Cam(that I bought from Rich!)... the engine is a
totally different animal...and a Hughes Engines Ported Throttle Body...and
headers, and K&N FIPK, and MP computer...etc.,etc.

Modifying the runners and divider will push the torque numbers up further in
the rpm band making your power more midrange and balanced on each side. The
stock runners give good solid torque on the low end, but really limits any
upper rpm strength. I'm sure you've experienced this when you lay into it.
As far as the cam goes, check out Hughes Engines (www.hughesengines.com).
They design and grind "honest-to-goodness" MOPAR cams. Nothing whimpy
here!!! You'll definitely feel the power. You'll see it too if you do a
dyno run; guarantee it! :'B

Also what are the dyno numbers on the magnum roller cam (p5249549) ? Iv'e
been told there's a 10 hp decrease in power ! I have the cam in my truck and
i didn't feel a dam thing on the butt dyno !!! Thanks .
