You may have blown the big fuse (120A?). This would keep the alternator from charging the battery.

well the we get everything put back together and the truck would not
start!!!! the batt was completley dead!!!!!
We jump the truck and get it to start, but it would not idle for a couple
minutes, if you took your foot off the gass It would just die.
Then once it began to idle I left it running while cleaning up the garrage,
and then took my buddy home.
about 15 miles later we were pulling off the freeway, and the truck just
died... complete electrical system shutdown... no horn, lights, alarm,
nothing. so I had the truck towed home, This all hapened at about 1:15 this
morning!!!!
I hope it is just the batterey, I checked several times for any loose
connections, or burnt wires, but there were none.
HELP guys, I need to get it fixed tonight.
I am going to try a new baterey tonight.
Greasy.
