I like the wat you think! Nothin' wrong with the big engine/little car combo
as far as I'm concerned (I've been thinking small block/ Porsche 914 myself
{check out a place called Renegade Hybrids}). I've got a '93 4x4 with a
modified 318 that's been built for a blower. First unit was a centrifugal
(Paxton- complete disaster- don't buy one) and I wish I had saved a little
longer and got the KB. The boost comes on earlier in the KB screw type- you
get most of the boost at 2000 RPM. With the centrifugal (when the bearings
weren't dying) only started to provide (about 2 Lbs) boost at 22-2400 RPM.
Early boost + heavier vehicles (trucks) = much more fun.
