The nice things about the 914- v-8 combo are price and flexability. 914's are
still fairly cheap (they came with VW fours- not exactly top shelf); I've
seen project-worthy cars for well under three grand. You can also directly
bolt in a 911 front suspension (now THAT's top shelf). Renegade Hybrids even
has a kit for bolting in the Chevy LS-1: injection and all. Now if they would
just come up with a Dodge Magnum swap kit!
