It may...but the stock manifold openings will handle a V8 TB without any
mods. Once you get into a 50mm or higher, you'll need to enlarge the
manifold openings. (Otherwise, you'll have a "disruption" in the airflow.)

Not sure about the vacuum leak, Bernd, but I'll check.

Been doing some thinking...the bores on the V8 is different than the V6. So,
the V8 TB bores are wider than the V6 manifold opening. I wonder if the air
is getting held up or creating turbulence or something and creating the
noise. I don't think that'd be the 'cause of the lag though.
