If it blew the fuse, it might have saved itself. Also, you don't have to
run the wires thru the firewall if you have a spare battery kicking around.

Thanks..the reason I asking is because I had this amp in an old truck and
when I took out the subs, the speaker wires were left hanging and I think
the
pos and neg were left toching...will this result in a blown amp??? Thanks
