I noticed the resonance went up in the cab and the sound got deeper. I do
have a 2 chamber flowmaster turned down right after the muffler. As for
power, I couldn't really tell a difference. As for emissions, we will see as
I have to get my truck smogged by the end of the month. Off goes the intake,
back to the factory air box. Anyone know if the Quick D will cause the truck
to increase emissions?

Subject: DML: Anybody w/ downturned pipes?

Hey folks,

I was wondering if anyone had downturned pipes on their truck, right after
the muffler, so that the exhaust exits under the vehicle, rather than out
the rear side? What effects were there with noise, power, emissions, etc?

By the way, I have a 93 V6 CC with a Dynomax 3" catback system.

Thanks,
