Jeff,
The 8.5MM Super Conductors are a great set of wires. I have had mine on now
for voer 3 years and wont hessitate to buy another pair. Well worth the
price. You have a few options as far a custom fit MSD wires for your V6
Dakota. First, they make a set for 1997-2000 3.9L V6 Dakotas, which you
should be able to use; MSD PN#32969. Next, you can get the MSD wire set
meant for 1994-1997 318/360 Dodge Rams; PN#32189. Of course this is for the
V8, so you will have two spare wires. Last time I checked though, the V8
wire set was like $7 or so cheaper than the V6 wire set. I am currently
using the 32189 wire set and can verify that they are indeed a 100% direct
fit......just with two spare wires !
Unfortunately I cannot give you specific prices on these wires because
Summit's online catalog is down for a few hours today for maintainance. Hope
this helps.
