Hey, Dave.

That yellow Dak was a no show on Sunday.

Besides myself, there was a red Lightning and a black RC R/T.
They must be buddies as they arrived and parked together.
The Lightning ran a best of 14.18 and the R/T had a 15.18.
Most of the time, the R/T ran mid to high 15s. As a matter of fact,
on that 15.18 run, he lined up with me and by this time he had uncorked
his exhaust system. I beat him on the reaction time by .354 sec and
crossed the line about 3 truck lengths ahead of him.

Sorry that you couldn't make it. There were quite a number of cars
but little long lineups in the staging lanes. Lots of Hondas
who spent money over the winter putting on either a SC or a
turbo. Only a couple of Pro/Super stocks showed up so not much
rubber was laid down and it stayed a bit slippery at the launch.

Bob
