Mine needed a passenger cv boot(just outer but I replaced both at the same
time) at 135,000 miles. Stock ujoints on the front/rear driveshafts are all
tight, tcase is fine,.......truck has 138,500 miles on it right now. Shifts
in and out of 4WD great, just like the day I bought it in Oct. 94 with
13,000 miles on it. I think the key to making any vehicle last, 2WD or 4WD,
is doing routine and preventative maintainance.
