Proper weight gear oil for 9.25 LSD?

Help,

Need to know what weight oil to use in my 9.25 LSD - 75W-90, straight 90W
?????
My 2000 factory service manual only states that it must be API GL - 5 or
MIL-L-2105C rated. No weight given for the rear unlike the front which gets
a 80W-90. Strange.
