If you didn't touch anything else when you installed your coil. I would
check all your connections to the coil including the secondary coil wire.
Make sure it's connected good. If you haven't changed your plug wires for
awhile, now might be a good time. If those platinum plugs have been working
good for you, fine, but they don't generally work too good on Gen II
engines. The MSD coil will certainly put out a hotter spark, not as hot as
with an MSD 6 unit but hot enough to fry those plugs. Take them out and
check them.

Subject: DML: Msd Problems!!!?????

I installed a Msd Coil last week in my Dak and now the truck seems a lil
hesitant to start. Any ideas or answers?
I also have a wire runing from my remote starter box, to mone of the spark
plug wires, does anyone know why it is there, and is there a different
location where I can put the wire?
Thanks Jeff
