Just heard on the news:

In the Salt Belt States - that's where they throw salt on the roads for
de-icing: The states include Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts,
Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware,
Maryland, the District of Columbia, West Virginia, Ohio, Indiana, Michigan,
Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, and Missouri. 701,000 vehicles.

All 1994-1999 Dodge Rams for possible corrosion of hood latch thereby
allowing hood to fly open. This is the secondary latch, not the primary
latch.

All 1994-1996 Dodge Ram Diesels for possible corrosion of throttle cable.
The cable could fray or break causing loss of throttle control.
